If all you want is a resume, I price this separately, and the price depends upon the complexity of the project. Generally, single resumes start at about 1% of your targeted salary, but may cost more or less, depending on the length of a candidate’s career and level of responsibility and how much work is needed to bring the document up to current standards. Bundling provides you the opportunity to receive a cohesive package of products – with the addition of a cover letter and training to use the resume, the profile, and letter for various additional roles.
In addition to a resume and a profile, I offer an array of additional products that can enhance your marketing package. These are designed to add value and showcase you as a standout candidate. These include a professional bio and a professional “pitch” presentation that highlights you career achievements and values. I have had clients win job offers because they were the only ones who used this additional marketing collateral. Ask me about these extras! I never advise candidates pick stand-alone services, because a job search is never about using only one tool. But your situation is unique. That’s why I created these additional products to make sure you are fully armed for the many different situations that they will encounter – and to give you edge over other candidates.
A bio by itself is not enough to make a full impression. But there are circumstances that call for them, including speaking engagements, company websites, or entrepreneurial pursuits that don’t require a full resume.
